About Us

Grizzly Firestarters is a small home-based business started by Ken & Angela Staab in 1994. At that time we were expecting our first child and Angela was working in the insurance industry, often putting in 50+ hrs a week. Grizzly Firestarters was a way for Angela to be an "at home" mom and still supply some of the additional income our family needed. With a lot of hard work and great customers spreading the word we have grown to a mail-order base of about 1,200 clients across the county. Grizzly Firestarers can also be found in 85 Washington State businesses, resorts or campgrounds. Our customers return year after year and many have become dear friends.
